Day Six - December 15, 1996

The day started off aggravating but ended up nice. First we went to the Mary Poppins character breakfast for Sunday Brunch. The Grand Floridian was a ZOO between all the people checking out and all the families who decided Sunday Brunch was the ideal time to do their only character breakfast of the week. We waited over an hour for a table. (Next time we'll do character breakfasts every day EXCEPT Sunday.)

Then, Dan decided he was still sick so he went back to bed and Marie and Matthew went to Epcot on the Monorail. They got to ride in the front with the driver (again!) and Matthew got a co-pilots license, too.

Once again Matthew was not that thrilled with Epcot. He did like the Sega and Apple booths at Innoventions though he thought his mother's attitude (you can do this at home, let's GO) sucked. She thought the same about the fact that he lost his backpack with their only non-digital camera in it.

After seeing all to see at Future World, Marie called Dan at the hotel and discovered he was feeling better. So they agreed to meet at Planet Hollywood for dinner. However, the only way to get there from Epcot was to take a bus back to the hotel and then launch to the Disney Village Marketplace. The bus was actually fun but when Marie and Matthew got to the launch, they saw it taking off with Dan on board!

They finally met up again at Planet Hollywood and that's when everyone started having fun again. We got our pictures taken with Mickey. They used a digital camera and photographic quality color printers. A whole room full of Macintoshes! Trippy! Matthew also saw Santa and we all did a little window shopping before retiring to bed.
